I was driving to put my car in storage and a friend of mine pulls up next to me in his cadillac and revved his engine. I revved my engine and I heard a loud crack sound. Now whenever i drove past 2500 rpm the engine would make a ticking sound going up farther. Ironically, this was on my way to putting it in storage. Could this be the lifters? I drive an 86 iroc tpi btw... thanks
