my 82 trans am just had its wipers stop working. when I turn the switch I hear it come on and I hear a loud buzzing. I took the cover off of it and the sounds comes from a part on the far left that also has a small green cover over it. the part has a copper coil under it. it just buzzes loud and I see a little light flashing under it. the wipers will not move at all. I checked wires and moved that part around a little and it worked for a few seconds the n all it has done since it make a loud sound but no movement. my wipers are stuck half way up. do I need a new wiper motor? any clues? this just happened right after my 99 trans am started having a loud compressor noise. just my luck. I told my husband I was about ready to get rid of both of them b/c I'm tired of having problems with them. I fix one thing and something else goes wrong.
