Anyone using a 6.0 or 5.3 vortec starter? They look like the LT1 starters.

I was going to go with a stock L98 starter, but would like the extra room. I can find a used LT1 starter, but I think I can locate a 5.3 vortec motor starter.

Will it work. I think it uses different bolts, but will it work?

My friend is having to replace his 5.3 because of a rod through the block. We took his starter and checked with a Lo3 and the bolt holes are way off.

So I guess I answered my own questions.

I guess this could be deleted.
