Probably going out.
Can't help you on the caddy though.
Check the part numbers online and see if they're identical. That may help you.

Matt,
Roy is right check everything out first before you throw parts at the car. Starting circuit is fairly simple. Large positive battery cable goes to big lug on the starter solenoid & small wire from ignition circuit goes to the S terminal (several fusible links in there on the big lug). Ignition power pulls in the coil on the solenoid, throws out the Bendix drive and powers the starter motor to turn over the engine.
Your is clicking, so find out why the starter motor isn't turning over. Bad solenoid, bad starter motor, engine locked up or starter gear jamming against the flywheel. You can crawl under car (please use jack stands & make sure the car is in park or neutral with the e-brake on) and use a small FUSED jumper wire to go from the big lug on solenoid to the S terminal & see if the starter turns the engine over. Or you can pull the starter & do all your testing on the bench. When the starter is out you can take the time to freshen it up, or just replace it. But satisfy your curiosity by doing some troubleshooting first.
