I would like opinions...

I am building a 350. It's .030 over with flat tops, a 282/282 duration 465/465 lift cam, and 461 double hump heads. What kind of power you guys think i'll make?

No one can tell you how much power since you didn't tell us the year/make of the car, if its TPI/carb/TB, tranny specs, rear end specs, etc.

Lose the double hump heads and go with an aftermarket set - you will make more HP.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere

And don't forget of course, those heads won't fit these cars (no accessory bolt holes); so they need to go away, no matter what. Doesn't matter how much power it makes if you can't install it.

Re: I would like opinions...

it's a carbed 350 with a 700r4 tranny and 2.42 gears in the rear. 82 camaro. the bolt holes dont matter because i'm only running an alternator and a power steering pump neither of which are going to mount off the head because of the brackets i have. it doesn't matter because these have the holes machined into them. You know some 461's did come with holes just like these.

Which cam exactly? Part number?
What pistons are in there? Part number?
Was the block decked? Piston height?

Intake system? Carb model? Intake model?

Without that info it could make between 220HP and 420HP, depending on those parts, and how you're measuring the HP.
