my camaro dies in reverse unless it is totally up to running temperature. i can tell it is running really rich and other than that, it sounds fine in neutral but still idles rough, then i put it in reverse and it kills, time after time.

i have searched and have only found "dies in reverse" reguarding tpi and tbi cars and only on one carbed engine and that didnt answer my question.

 

i have kept searching and found nothing... anybody?

 

what does it do when you put it in drive

 

the wires in my distributer were bare and shorting out, so i rewired the whole thing and it works great now. thanks for responding though. so for $2 in wire i basically have a new distributer! lol.
