I have an 88 5.0 TPI and when I start my car it will die right away unless I give it gas for a couple of seconds and then it will stay running. It has died a couple times when I was driving and once I restarted it back up, it was feeling sluggish and was jerking a bit. Any ideas?

 

one of the sensors could be in need of replacing. i had the similar problem with my 5.0 TBI.

 

could be water in your gas check that first check your coil and plug wires to is your ses light on

 

When I got the car I did a full tune up. Oil, oil filter, air filters, fuel filter, plugs and wires, cap and rotor, and coolant temp sensor. I dunno what it could be.
