car makes air loss noise after i sut the car down. did cam replacement and torqued to the specs. any ideas?

 

does it make like a HISSINg sound? if it does its a Vaccumn leak somewhere prob

 

its note a hissing its real quick like 5 seconds after car shut down.. i rechecked and rechecked everything. sounds like comming from motor

 

can i possibly be a valve stickn open or closed? by to tight on rocker arm?

 

I am having this same sound and wondering what that is. It only comes on after the engine is just turned off and is about 5 sec. on the passengers side of the engine. I did have the heads milled down to 63 cc from 65 and not the intake. Could it be pressure being released after the engine is turned off and a bad seal from the intake not seated and leaking from the intake gasket?

Will do a compression test tomorrow.

 

I discovered that the pressure release sound after shutting of the engine was actually the back plate gasket on my water pump was leaking. Problem solved.
