removing oil sender and temp sender any tips?
im about to tackle removing the temp sender and oil pressure sender for my gauges
any tips like warming up the car? to make the senders unscrew easier since they have been in there for 20yrs?
my fear is ill get hit with hot coolent or hot oil if i do that
also any kind of teflon or a any kind of lubricant to put on the new sender threads?

I wouldn't do it with the motor hot.
Rotate counterclockwise.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
It'd be a good idea to drain the cooling system before doing the temp gauge one.
The oil one, there's no real prep for; just change it out.
Use automotive-specific pipe thread sealer, such as the Loctite/Permatex kind that comes in a little tube on a card in the sealer aisle at the parts stores.

if it looks rusty, spray some WD40 in there over night. Start by tightening, just a tad, and then unscrewing.
It wont break like a bolt, so u dont need to take those precautions really, just use a proper wrench and dont strip it.
