Xstream aircleaner lid on a 1992 rs
I was wanting to put this on my car but i dont know if i need the replacement k&n round filter or if my stock filter would work? will it fit clearance wise? can i use my stock base?

It'll basically sit in the hood blanket. I haven't seen evidence they help any with a non-cowl 3rd gen hood.

Remember it's gonna be against the hood unless you got a cowl anyway. If have an intake that cant flow so much air that the air filter is the restriction such as the stock snorkel, then there's no point. If you have an open element against the hood, also no point.
If you got a cowl... then go for it.
If you got a cowl... then go for it.
