Replacing Starter on '91 RS Camaro 305
I need to replace the starter on my '91 Camaro. I've never done this before and was wondering how difficult it is to get to, get off and replace? Will I have to remove the exhaust to get it off/on?
Thanks for any suggestions/info...

All stock? Should be pretty straight forward. Disconnect the battery, jack up the car, use stands to support the vehicle. If an auto, it might help to remove the inspection cover to get the starter out. I didnt have to remove or drop the y-pipe to get the starter out. Installation is the reverse of removal. Just make sure to re-use any shims.
With replacement starter in hand, the job shouldnt take more than a couple hours if that long.
Good luck
