LT5??

Does GM still make the LT5 DOHC, or the block for it? It sounds like a lovely engine indeed...

so they dont make anything for it at all? block? heads? will the DOHC heads work on a LT1/LT4 block?

GM never built the LT5, Mercury Marine built the LT5. The LT5 was designed by both GM and Lotus. It was built in the Mercury Marine factory though, because of their experience with aluminum.

The last of the warrenty replacement LT5s were sold from GM nearly 10 years ago. They went for like $7,500 each, completely dressed with all accessories and manifolds.
