no start, no spark
no start, no spark
86 firebird w/ a 2.8, wont start. yesterday it starded really hard in the morning but did start. on the way to work it stalled and wouldnt start, so had it towed. still wont start. checked ignition coil, according to the "3 tests" with an ohmmeter its good, checked pickup coil with ohmmeter was about 700 ohms and no continuity to ground which is good, there is battery voltage at the coil. i checked the cap and rotor, there was slight carbon in cap so i replaced cap and rotor still no start. ohmed out all secondary wires and theyre good. i'm down to two things i think. the pickup coil is coated with rust, but it ran fine with it like that before. i'm also going to take the module to have it tested but im not sure if theres something else i should check. I also have codes 13-oxygen sensor, 32-egr failure, and 44-oxygen sensor lean. i also noticed the tach flutters slightly when cranking. any ideas? does anybody know what kind of voltage should be generated if i check ac voltage generated by the coil? manual doesnt say
