Car starts, turn it off and it won't start again
Car starts, turn it off and it won't start again
So i fix one problem and another arise, not a shocker. I have a 92 305 Camaro RS and some times the car won't start. no cranking or nothing. i have full power to the car though. once i get it started it runs fine. after i turn the car off i try to turn it back on it won't start, again no cranking or anything just turning the key. Most of the time i can go back out about 5-10 mins later depending on how pissed i am by that point and it will hessitate, then finally start cranking. Could this be a bad connection, Starter, or voltage regulator? any help please.

Re: Car starts, turn it off and it won't start again
I had this same problem. My car would start week, then when i would drive it for about 10 min, turn it off, then try to start it again. Nothing. I got a new starter. Starts better than new.
Re: Car starts, turn it off and it won't start again
So i went to have the starter tested and it tested good. i noticed when i was taking it off there was a plentiful build up of corrsion on the battery cable that goes to the starter. I cleaned it off put it back up and ever since then it is back to normal. no more start turn off and not start again. thanks for the suggestions and help
