305 combenation

What combination of part & work would it take to get my LB9 up to 320 - 350 HP?

Would it still pass calif. smog ?

Whats the most HP out of a LB9 any one seen, (without power adders) & it's still streetable?

Re: 305 combenation

A "bore kit" would be a great start... that's good for any easy 40 HP or so, without touching a single other part.

I saw a build somewhere of a 290hp california smog legal 305.
I'll see if I can find a link.

Re: 305 combenation

People post that article all the time; and the 325 HP 305 one, and the 400 HP 305 that blew up on the dyno one.

It's not about TBI. It's about LG4 and L69; carb motors.

Doesn't matter. It's not CA smog legal for a TPI car regardless. It's for an older carbed one.

Might as well not even bother with that. Doesn't apply to you.
