need a lil help upgrade to speed density
if i buy a new harness and ecm to upgrade to speed density for my 85 tpi, will the body connector still work with the ecm? who has upgrade from 85 to 92?

I think there is a tech article somewhere on the site, to re-pin your current harness to use a speed density computer...... That would certainly be easier..

A lot easier than replacing a wiring harness.... I think there are less than a dozen wires that need to be moved...... Have a look here, before you decide.

No, the body connector is different as an '85 has a separate engine harness and car harness. A 89+ car has the engine and car harness together in the same loom.

wat about a 86 harness. repinning is not my thing. this realy sucks
