i wasent sure where to post this but i just got my camaro running after its been siting for about 3 months and i just put a new heater core in it and it has a few problems it didnt have before

the first problem is the infl rest light comes on but goses off after a bit

the second problem is some times when i start it it acts like its gona die and i have to rev it a bit befor it will run normal and the exhaust smells and its suckin up gas really bad

so eny advice to fix theses problems would be apreshiated

inflatable restraint light is your airbag. it should come on when started, for a few seconds and then shut off. as long as it isgoing out, dont worry about it. CHeck for an overfueling condition. are the plugs fouled? Basics first. Possibly a FPR diaphragm when to crap sitting there. Anything is possible.

 

ya iv also been thinking that the gas is stale cause its 3 or 4 months old and iv herd it starts to get gunky after 30 days unless u use fuel stabilizer witch i didnt
