Good book for setting up SBC heads and cam
I've never done actual engine work before. My goals are to take my L05 down to the shortblock, install a different cam, self port some iron L98 heads and install them, and put my TBI back on top of it (with tuning of course). Can somebody recommend a good book that can show a newbie how to work on top ends of later model roller SBC motors like this?

I don't usually cry
button right off the bat...but you'd learn a hell of a lot more practical info and it will be free. It will just a take a little of you time to sort thru.

A fella named SittingBull did a great job home porting, photographing and documenting the entire process.
