F'N mad at LT1 starter
BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING READ THE ENTIRE POST...
I've read post after post after post about people using LT1 starters. I just went out and bought one for a 95 Camaro/Firebird with the 350. I'm no mechanic but I don't how it can possibly bolt up. The "LT1" starter that I have is completely backwards from a stock starter and therefore looks like it should bolt onto the other side of the engine which is clearly impossible. Somebody please help and if you have a description of how this is suppose to work pics. would be nice to. THANKS

after looking at pics. of other LT1 starters they look fine, unlike the one I have. Maybe Autozone gave me the wrong thing? It's what they have listed on their systems and website though.

WRONG PART in the ... box
Although, probably not in China, though; most rebuilding takes place more or less locally. Cheaper and easier (usually...) to ship little repair parts and hire local labor, than to ship cores around the world and hire overseas labor.
Blame your neighbors.

The one that was wrong was for a 95-97 and they called other Autozones and they had the wrong thing to. It also says remanufactured in China on it. I ended up getting on for a 93-94 and it cost $32 and is remanufactured in Mexico.
