Fuel Pressure regulator?

I want to replace my fuel pressure regulator but in my haynes book it says nothing about a fuel regulator, and in my Chilton book all it says about replacing them is that the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel rail are serviced as a complete assembly. I would like to know if there is a way to do it without having to replace the fuel rail?

Re: Fuel Pressure regulator?

yes you can replace it seperately, you will need a set of tamper proof star sockets to take the screws out of the regulator get a set at advance auto.take the top half of the plenum up it will raise up enough to get to the regulator ,you just have to be patient or take it all the way off, also have to remove bolts from air conditioner compressor ,remove gas cap so theres no pressure in the tanklater jimmy
