I think you set it the same way as the TBI. I might be wrong though. Push in that gold metal "D" shaped button, push in that black plastic slider clicky thing all the way in. Then hook it up to the throttle linkage and push the the gas pedal to the floor, then it should be set. Do a search, I am sure someone has better directions than mine.

Looks like you have the correct linkage piece on there. Good.
Same as any other TV cable. Install it, hook it up, push the D-shaped retainer thing in the cable housing, pull the housing as far back toward the firewall as it will go, floor the gas, done.
The trans does not care what brand or model of carb, TBI, PFI TB, etc. is up there; all it cares, is that the cable gets pulled the right amount in accordance with engine power output, so the trans knows when to raise the line pressure.

There is a certain place on the throttle plate, that the bolt for the cable goes. If you look at a stock carb/700r4 you can get an idea where it is.
Also as the throttle cable pulls back, the TV cable should pull out. It will be under your red bracket, one end on the throttle plate, the other mounted, like the throttle cable, only underneth the red bracket.
The TV cable should have just enough slack to allow the butterfly valves to open completely.
Too loose, not enough pull on cable = slipping tranny.
Too tight. the cable will be tight before WOT = early quick shifts.
There should be adapter kits to do the link up. 700R4 are different then 350-400 (I think) measure a stock one,Throttle shaft to TV bolt.
