Can someone show me a picture that shows how the ignition coil and the egr solenoid mount to a 305 Tuned Port Injection motor? Thanks

 

An '85 would have the coil in the distributor cap from the factory.

I tried the TPI forum but didnt get an answer yet. Yes 85 would have the coil in the cap but the harness and distributor are from a 1988.

I don't have a picture handy at the moment, but there's been pics posted on here before, probably in the tpi forum. Anyways, there's a bracket that both the coil and egr solenoid attach to. The bracket attaches to the last 2 intake manifold bolts on the passenger side, back by the distributor. Tpiparts.net has a pic of the bracket I'm referring to. The egr solenoid attaches to the underside of it, and the coil mounts to the top side of it. If you type "engine pics" into the search bar, and specify tpi forum only, you should be able to find some pics that show it. Nevermind, I see you managed to get a pic in the tpi forum. Anyways, if you do need that bracket, you can get it from tpiparts.net.
