idle problem
When my car warms up I can be driving or stopped and it feels like it loses a little rpm but it varies. Say Im at a redlight idling it drops about 200 or 300 rpm and feels like its about to die for just a split second. When Im crusing in od it does the same thing and feels like for just secong it drops into third and then goes rite back in od.Any suggestions?

What have you done to compensate for the increase in displacement?

This is still TBI?
If so, you've got some PROM tuning ahead of you.

Re: idle problem
Yes it's tbi, and Im on my 6th mail order chip. I've been using this chip for about 8 or 9 months, I've never noticed this before. It has good plugs and wires and everything looks to be connected up rite to the tb. Its hard to explain but it almost feels almost like a vacum problem. Other then that its very smooth, do you think it could be tuning?

Re: idle problem
Somone please help. The plugs are good, cap and rotor are good, engine has 30,000 on it. It's tbi. The only thing I can think is it's the chip. From everything I've read and understand mail order chips are just shooting in the dark, so I need to datalog rite? If I buy the program and cable to do this then send my datalogs to a chip burner is this going to fix? Also what exactly would I need to datalog?
