What kind of "problems" are you expecting?
If your using dual coil racing valve springs, Remove the inner coil for cam break in. If you use a single stock diameter spring watch for coil bind at full lift.
Did you degree it in? Lock out the spark timing curve (34-36deg at idle full time. 3.5" power valve. needs a 3500+++stall converter and 4.10-4.56 gear.
I used this cam in a 12.65:1 350 with ported big valved shaved 305 heads and a holley strip dominator intake. A beast.
V to P clearance can be tight if both the block and heads have been shaved a lot.

Re: elgin e1090p
not really expecting any problems just read that some cat used this and had problems right off so i thought to myself that maybe his lash was set too tight or too much spring pressure however im running a fresh set of dhumps 2.02 valves kb flat tops 3800 convertor and 4.10 rear performer rpm intake roller rockers ,really built this engine on the cheap ,in the process of building big motor all roller ,motown 23 degree heads j&e pistons ,but just was curious about this stick ,thanks for your input and i hope its a beast for me what kind of trap speeds did you see with the 4.10 and what kind of car did you have it in ,mine is a 92 firebird will post pics in about a week, does this cam have decent low end torque -------------------------------big zeke 355 bird

What valve springs do you have? If you're using a stock diameter spring you'd be better off with Elgin#1091P. Its the same except .504" gross lift
Either can easily use a 4.56:1 gear. The engine really wants to rev.
I never did get a MPH on it. Other issues. Made lots of power.
With a dual plane an 4.10's I'd cam it a little differently thou.
