weird idle think vacuum related

92 camaro tbi with decent cam as listed to left. idles fine with a/c off,but brakes are spongy.turn a/c on and idles lower and will not die. put car in gear with a/c on and drive to a stop and motor idles low and dies. Any ideas oh normal idle for me is about 800 w/o a/c and drops to like 500 and lower with a/c on

Re: weird idle think vacuum related

It seems low on vacuum for that cam... look for leaks maybe. The idle should get raised by the IAC (idle air controller... or something like that) That would be a good starting point.

With an xr 282hr comp cam I idle at 800 with or w/o ac, and get 15 in of vacuum.
