weird fuel issue
i have a 89 iroc 350 tpi to carb swap mallory regulator so it only puts out 6psi. Well for the last two months once a month my car will just start idling low then eventually die i pump the hood and check my fuel pressure gauge it reads 0 usually it holds 6 for quite awile. i start the car and it stay at 0 and runs like **** until the fuel bowls in the carb go dry i let it sit for a min fuel pump primes then runs fine. would a dying fuel pump only do this once a month? It feels like its just as powerful before i had fuel issues so its holding pressure good only once awile it will do this.

Re: weird fuel issue
Fuel leaks, or the fuel pump mounted to high. I had both on my TBI to carb swap. I also had to remove the in tank pump, and make a pick-up for it. I hope this at least is a good starting point.
