Engine: 350 .30 over w/bang for buck combo
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: stock for now
Head Porting
Anyone in NY know a place where i can get my new stock heads ported.. i went to E- Town to find a decent set of aluminums and the only ones i found were completely stock but 100% new rebuilt and never used. i want to get them ported.. ne places anyone knows of? Not too expensive either.

ok yes they were used an rebuilt... w/ warranty.. i just want to get them ported.. know any places in ny area?

how hard is it to port just the intake and exhaust sections on the heads.. not the valves? like where the intake pushes the air in?.. (sorry for the lamens terms i don't know what those sections are called)

Not trying to be smart, but if you dont know what they are called you probably shouldn't do it yourself. I'm not from ny, but if you look for speed shops in the phone book or online, and call around, and ask if they can port small block chevy heads for you they will probably help you out. It would be best if you had someone show you how to do it, or check out a set of ported heads so you can reference. It would suck to mess up a pair of decent heads. But if your really bent on doing it yourself, there are a few articles on this site and around the internet that would probably help you. All you really need is a dremel and a few attachments
