Ignition Control Module
I have been recently replacing a bunch of components after i did my 350 swap trying to figure out an electrical problem that i have and ive decided that since the Ignition Control Module is only 15 bucks id replace it. The only problem is when i brought my ICM in to match it up with the replacement part i was told by the guys at advance that there is an ICM for a manual and an automatic camaro. The ICM that i took off resembles the Manual replacement that Advance has, the automatic one has a completely different casing. Is there a difference in the ICM's in Manuel and Automatic Camaros? i have an auto tranny by the way so i dont want to throw the wrong part on there. Would it hurt if i put the manual one on instead of the automatic?
