hey guys cant get my 88 runnin has 305 tbi was running fine took off the intake to fix the water inlet broken bolt on it put it back on started high reved backed down on the timing idle good whent back to work came home tried to start it ran died no matter what i did w turning distributor it would pop through the carb sprayed drivers side w carb cleaner idle then died so i replaced gasket same thing so i whent to the junk yard grabed another intake threw on new gaskets a rebuilt distributor from advance auto no fire at all then i found out i had to set my iac seeing i had it out so i jumped the diagnostic port and set it but i forgot the jumper in while i was trying to start the car not sure if that messed anything up but all i know is she aint running or firing off ( was wondering if i could take off the electronic distrib and swap in a vacume dvance ) any help would be greatly appreciated

 

no bigie now anybody have a cheap 305 lol washed the cylnders gas going into oil from trying to start it so much and all the gas shooting into cylnders
