Accleration problem!

So I was driving my car last night and I started to notice my torque was almost all gone. I can still accelerate if I tap the throttle but if I step on it, it stops accelerating all together. I am really confused because it just started doing it out of nowhere. The car also starts shaking a bit when I begin to accelerate. The car with the problem is a 1989 GTA 5.7 and its an automatic.

Re: Accleration problem!

Could be the knock sensor. Had the same thing with my 96 monte carlo, would not accelerate and started shaking, check the cat and it was clean. Later found out it was the knock sensor that was bad.
