Transmission: JUNK

Axle/Gears: 3.73

Its a Camaro motor

I need some advice. I had a 350 from 87 Iroc laying around, and I had a 95 mustang with a bad motor, SOOOO.. why not. I put new bearings in the 350 and stuffed it in there. BUT now i am having problems. It has the comp 284 cam and holley 750. The car will start if you hold it to the floor,, and it will rev good, but if you let it idle, it dies after about 30 seconds, or if you put the car in reverse it dies also. I thought it may be the carb but this is the third carb, and it is doing the same thing with every carb.....I KNOW,, I KNOW this was a bad thing to do to a Chevrolet motor, but how else are ya supposed to make a mustang keep up with a camaro????? ANY HELP?? I hope this post doesnt get deleted because its a stang...
