several things gone wrong with my 87 Formula Bird
Alright, this one is for all of you car-savvy, or engine-savvy people. I'm about to give up on my firebird and run it to hell if I don't figure out what's wrong with it.
1) Oil or some kind of fluid leaking on the manifold (puddles of it actually)
2) Strong gas odor coming out of exhaust
3) Engine won't start 15% of the time
4) Loss of power on acceleration
---I just had the entire lower half of the engine replaced with brand new parts
---there's not even 60,000 original miles on the car yet, with only 1,100 on the new engine
---took it to a mechanic and he said I need 2 new fuel injectors, but this was before the oil or whatever it is started leaking on the manifold
I NEED HELP!!!
I'm a college student, and this is my daily driver

The oil leak is probably you valve cover gasket. Easy to fix.
Get the two injectors.
How about the basic maintenance? Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap cleaning, maybe a throttle body cleaning.
