Axle/Gears: BW 9Bolt 3.70's
Camshaft Question

its time for a Camshaft swap in a 92 RS 305.

is this cam a hydralic roller? or a hyd. flat tappet?

secondly whats the benifit of putting a LT1 Cam in this engine and what kind of idle will i recieve?

lastly. where can i order a LT1 cam and lifter kit.

any help would be awesome!

Roller.
Yea, LT1 is a good cheap upgrade.
Find those on ebay or the like. Many people with LT1's are yanking their cams to go bigger. Don't need the lifters, you can reuse your existing ones.
No big idle change, but it will have a bit more HP across the board.

also, does anyone know how loapy of a cam you can run without the ECU getting confused. thanks or a part# crane, comp etc..

in a 305 TBI engine? I think you need to remain pretty tame. Check on the TBI forum, more guru's specific to those problems over there.
