Fuel Pressure Regulator

My '91 Z28 L98 has been significantly built, dyno's out at nearly 400hp(396whp). My question is, my car has been mail ordered tune by Ed Wright at SuperChips in Tulsa, Ok... but it still runs rich. I have a feeling it'll just be too hard to dial in the car with a mail-order tune and I don't quite have the money to tow the car to Tulsa and to get a Dyno-Tune.

I've heard a Fuel Pressure Regulator will SOMEWHAT help(not hoping it'll magically solve everything) the car run a little leaner. But, does the Pressure Regulator I get need to be brand specific to the intake and such I have?

A member here has a brand new BBK Fuel Regulator, but my car has a TPIS Intake and such. Do I need to get a TPIS Fuel Regulator, or are the Regulator's fairly universal?

Re: Fuel Pressure Regulator

Eh... but a guy here has the BBK one for half that price. But your saying that the Regulator's are pretty much universal?

Re: Fuel Pressure Regulator

Dosent really matters wich brand you buy, thay all are the same, (exept the holley that you can adjust by hand.)

The big difference is that you need and tool to adjust the pressure on the other regulators, the Holley one you use your hand/fingers... much easier..

and the other difference is you only get the "cover" when you buy an BBK, you have to reuse the diaphragm and spring..
with the Holley one you get new things. (spring, diaphragm, washerplate)
