I have a 99' Camaro and I was driving down the road and I looked down and saw that my gauges weren't working, but my radio was still on. I turned it off and tried to turn it back on and it would not come on at all. It does not click or anything. My security light is coming on however. The radio and windows work, but my lights will not automatically come unless you manually turn them on. I tried messing with the battery, looking at fuses, and I even tried the cleaning of the key, but none of it works. I heard it could have something to do with the security system. idk Also my security light has been on for some time before this happened. Can anyone help?

 

its called VATS. either a wire is messed up, or you need to replace your vats box, or the key (with chip in it)... take it to chevy.
