cause and effect

Looking for additional opinions:

Would you think having two completely wiped out cam lobes each one on a different cylinder and different valve (one intake the other exhaust)cause an engine not to run and just sputter a little bit while cranking?

just thinking bout stuff

Re: cause and effect

It's possible. If the wiped exhast is on a cyinder that fills with fuel, ignites, then exhuast back into the intake when the intake valve opens, not much fuel mixture might get into other cylinders. The wiped intake would be less of a problem.
