Starting rick 87 2.8

My 87 Camaro with a 2.8l starts fine first start of the day but after that it will start in a flooded state. It turns over serveal many times and after putting my foot part way to the floor it starts and then runs rich for serveral seconds until it clears then runs fine. Any ideas what it the problem? I have changed the TPS, Coolant sensor, rotor and cap.
Thanks
