Need general info on TBI
Hey guys. Im brand new to this forum so first let me say hello.
I recently bought a '93 Caprice LTZ. Im about to start rebuilding the engine and trans. I would like to get as much power as possible out of my TBI. Im hoping for atleast 300hp? Now later on I would like to run a turbo. I have been told I wont be able to find anyone who makes a turbo kit for the TBI but I figured I could fabricate a kit for an LT1 fairly easily.
What Im asking you guys is what are the best ways to eek the power out of the TBI. I already know I will need heads. Im gettin a set of vortecs soon. I have been told about an EBL that is money well spent? Thanks for all the help guys.
BTW, if your wondering why I'm posting on this forum, I figured you all have dealt with the TBI very frequently so I ould like to get help from people with hands on experience. Im getting tired of the guys over at my forum telling me to just do an LT1 swap
