Roller Timing Chain

I am going to put a 94 LT1 in my 86 Camaro, apparently this is the crappe model, or the one no one likes...because there are no direct fit Roller timing chain kits for it...the GM one requires extra parts that cost more money, and Lunati makes a set but its for 92-93 LT1s...now my question....

If i was to just use a roller CHAIN would it work on the stock gears for the timing chain on my 94 LT1? just the chain not the gears or anything...
Thanks
Ox

Re: Roller Timing Chain

Look for a company called s.a gear. they are in bridgeview illionois. I dont know the number, but im sure they will have the double row, adjustable, roller timing chain and gears for your motor.
