MAF Code,and runs rough sometimes?

Car: 1988 iroc/2000 saab 9-5
Engine: 355 tpi/Roller cam
Transmission: 700r4/2800 stall,megashifter
Axle/Gears: 3;42
MAF Code,and runs rough sometimes?
Having a few issues with the iroc,any help would be appreciated.
Sunday,after fueling up,and a cruise,engine seems to lack/or drag a little and some loss of power,on the lower end.
Pulled over, and let idle,then gave it some rpms,and kinda seems to be missing/and running rough,a little smoke.
Drove to the shop,and it came out of it,but then appeared again.
Hooked up to it,got maf low voltage code.
So,brought up rpms,and noticed volts stay at 2.4 and dont change with the rpms up.
Should voltage on the maf go up with the change in engine speed?
And does this sound like a maf failure?
Car is a 88 tpi, 355,orig maf.
