Are pushrods the same for all Gen SBC?

I am curious if an LSx pushrod is the same as a GEN I or II sbc pushrod, other than length of course. I ask this because I think it would make my search for a proper rod easier, with more options. Can anyone advise? Other than aftermarket designs, are LSx and Gen I rods interchangeable? Thanks

Will

Gen I and Gen II are the same (length not withstanding), and Gen III *might* be but I can't remember.
