carbed 350. what gpm rating would i want and which manufacturers have the best reputation? the car is going to be prodominantly used for racing.

All the electric pumps are good for race only. It's when you need one for continuous use on the street that the electric pumps does't always cut it.

A cheap route is to buy an aluminum water pump then install a Moroso electric drive onto it.

As a true electric pump, I use a Meziere 100 Series pump on my engine. It's quiet and I've never had an issue with it. I actually bought it used off Ebay and have used it for a number of years now.
