Transmission: 700R4/4R70W
Axle/Gears: 9" rear/8.8" 4.10
fuel rail pressure guage bouncing everywhere at idle...
i just got the camaro running in the last week or two and my new fuel pressure guage on the rail is bouncing everywhere at idle. when i give it steady low RPM throttle it levels out around 7 psi.
what could be causing the bouncing?

does the engine shake when the needle is jumping!?
If you mount an gauge on the fuelrail it may be necessary to have an liquid filled gauge to prevent the needle shaking from the shaking of the engine.
But if the engine idles smooth and no shake you may have an bad fuelpressure..
maybe fuelpump / filter or fuelpressure regulator is not 100% right, get them checked, and if possible, try another gauge to see if it works or does the same thing..
