Wire loom routing

Hi guys,
I have a question about the best way to route and protect the main wire loom from heat.
This is the loom that passes on the top of the engine, and goes along the passenger side of the intake manifold. The wires for the TPS and also the AC compressor come out of it. Mine was sandwiched between the intake runners and the valve cover on the passenger side. I am worried that it might be getting a little too hot for it. The wrapping around the front of the loom, where the wires to the TPS connector separate from the rest of the loom, seems to be getting a bit burned up, as it has been touching the front right intake runner I think. I am worried about my wires getting melted.
Any help and suggestions on how to prevent a disaster would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
