Announcement: Change Of Plans!
Ok so i have though about sticking with these heds and how much grief that will cause so i am going to get rid of them and go with something better.
EDELBROCK: 60859 does anyone have any experience with these???
they should be much easier to do than to mess around with stock heads..
They should go up for sale shortly....
i will also use them with the 54779LUN cam by lunati.
Opinions?
Thanks

Re: Announcement: Change Of Plans!
Those Edelbrock heads are 165cc intake runner. That's only slightly better than stock. Forget 'em. They're like bolting on an aluminum version of a stock head. The two best aluminum choices for a high performance 350 engine are Trick Flow 195's or AFR Eliminator 195's.

Re: Announcement: Change Of Plans!
Good point, i dont want to spend anymore money after the heads ie: a new intake manifold . if i get the Trick Flow 195's would they work ok with the stock intake manifold? Will they have the accessory holes drilled? Will those 195 cc intake runners kill the low end or would it still be driveable? PS i want the headers i haev to work on the heads i end up getting... Edelbrock TES shorty Headers. The only other head i was looking at was those exact ones.
Here are the 3 that i was looking at:
-Tfs 30400006: 195 cc Intake Runner
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
-TFS 30300006: 175 cc intake
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
-Edelbrock 60859: 165cc Intake Runner
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
I want to keep the car as my daily driver too, with the frequent spirited WOT
Thanks for all the help bro, even from the previous posts.
