Engine not starting?
I have just changed out the plugs and wires on my 86 firebird-trans am with a 305 tpi. The car Ran befroe changing the plugs and wires. during changing the wires we notice one of them was barely connected and two of them were leanging against the exhauat manafold and some of the wires were mismatched so whoever did this tune up oviously didnt care to much. but the battery was dead and my father decided to jump start the car the car turned over and ran for about 5 seconds and then shut off. we sprayed ether into the inake and she kicked over, so we no there is a fuel problem could jump starting the car posssible shorted out something or blown a fuse?

Re: Engine not starting?
if you didnt connect the cables properly you could have shorted something.
i would double check to make sure that you didnt mess up any plug wires in the process.
i would also check timing, there is a slight possibility that you could have messed that up in the process.
