so iv bin having a lot of problems with my starter, iv got a 400 sb the block is a 78 with the cross pattern that cind of look like this. / its not the strate across one so iv bin having a hell of a time trying to find starter bolts that will work, i have my stock ones but one is way to short and the longer one is about 11mm too long and iv tryed all the auto shops in town and no body has the size in leangth or width i need. i got a set of just normal bolts but the width of thos are too small and the starter twistes after a couple cranks and i have to go back under and reajust it every time or ill just eat up my flyweel. so idk what to do now. im on a tight budjet so im not too up on just going out and getting another starter.
