Valve Cover Bolt Woes

Well I've been trying to trace my oil leak for awhile now, and I thought I had found the problem. Then, it turned into a bigger problem. The oil is hitting the header on the passenger side and running down to the exhaust piping, then blowing around at will. I went to check and see if the valve cover bolts on the pasenger side were snug, and the one closest to the firewall was loose - very loose. In fact, it came right out and this is what it looked like:

Beside it is a full bolt. What I want to know is, will I be able to get it out, how bad is it to remove the passenger side valve cover (with lines running everywhere)? Will I need to try and use a bolt extractor or will there be enough bolt in there to remove it with hand tools? I can't really start on this til Sunday at the earliest and I've got an appointment on Wednesday to have the new tires put on. Any help is appreciated, as always. Thanks.

Ah, genuine chinesium bolts. . .

You may be able to get to it, may have to drill it out.

IF there's any of the bolt sticking out of the boss, you can try getting a pair of vice grips on it and working it loose. More likely, you'll need to drill it out.
Getting the passenger valve cover off is no fun with all the stuff in the way. Good luck!

It depends on how the "screw" was installed, if it broke because it was bottomed out in the casting then it could be a bugger to get out, if it just broke from fatigue then you may be able to twist it out by had if you can get a grip on it.
