Gear drive and knock sensor

I will be ordering either a quieter or noisier gear drive for my 350 TPI.

Your expertise please......

Any knock sensor deletes possible?

Re: Gear drive and knock sensor

I dont know of a noisy gear drive for roller cam engines. Unless you remove the roller cam part. The quiet drive works fine with a knock sensor. Any stories you hear of false knock are false stories.

Re: Gear drive and knock sensor

You could always try using one of those newfangled segmented gear drives. The gear teeth are cut into segments, and pinned together in an inverted, flexible arrangement so that they are completely quiet. Some of the top race teams have been having good success with them for quite some time.
