Pull that thing out. Shine it up with a wire wheel and make it look good like the rest of the engine.

Is this the part? I already bought a Colant temp sensor but it goes near the manifold intake, it doesn's look like this one.

The one pictured is your coolant temp sending unit-sensor for your inst. cluster.
